| | | Intermountain Centers for Human Development is a not-for-profit service organization which provides residential treatment, using a positive behavioral model, for various clinical populations.
Positions are currently available in Tucson for Psychiatric Technicians to work in residential settings (group home or apartments), for severely mentally ill and dually diagnosed (DD/SMI) adults. Residential settings are centrally located in Tucson.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
>Provide behavioral contingencies as outlined in the most recent ICHD program description
>Provide direct care and supervision of residents in the residential setting and in the community. >Coordinate the planning and implementing of resident's academic and/or vocational program.
>Develop and maintain professional relationships with families, caseworkers, referring workers, employers, medical/dental professionals, families, and any other workers deemed necessary. >Ensure continuity of resident's program through assessment, goal development, data collection, point sheets, progress letters, and other forms of documentation deemed necessary.
>Transport residents to and from school, vocational placements, psychiatric and medical services, recreational activities and any other activities deemed appropriate.
>Prepare, implement, and document various aspects of the resident's program including monthly home letters, daily logs, point sheets, assessments, individual treatment plans, incident reports, medication forms, and any other form of paperwork deemed necessary for the resident�s program. >Maintain daily physical condition of the residential setting and ICHD vehicles to include awareness of resident telephone usage, ICHD's purchasing procedures, and regular maintenance of Center vehicles.
>Participate and assist in other aspects of program, e.g. training, staff meetings, resident's needs.
>Maintain approved work schedule and acceptable level of attendance.

| | | QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience and Legal requirements
>High School/GED required, in addition to CNA certification, or two years full-time related work experience required; or an Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in a Behavior Health related field
>One year full-time related experience preferred.
>CPR and First Aide Certified (ICHD provides training prior to 1st shift ) >21 years of age
>Possess a valid AZ Driver's License and 39 month driving record that meets insurance requirements
>Legal record void of any felony
>Meet all other agency/licensing requirements

Part-time and PRN positions may also be available, depending upon the applicant's ability to successfully complete required training.
